Michelle Miller

Co-Founder and Co-Director

Michelle Miller directs our strategic and operational planning, organizational partnerships, development and legal strategy.

Michelle is a nationally recognized leader on the future of work and emerging models of worker power. She is a former Echoing Green Fellow, JM Kaplan Innovation Fellow and Fellow at Georgetown University’s Kalmanovitz Initiative.

Jess Kutch

Co-Founder and Co-Director

Jess Kutch leads our digital strategies and technology development. She directs efforts to deepen the impact of workers using the Coworker.org platform.

Jess has managed digital programs at Change.org and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). She is an Aspen Institute Job Quality Fellow, 2019 TED Fellow, JM Kaplan Innovation Fellow, and Echoing Green Global Fellow.

Aisha Satterwhite

Managing Director

Aisha leads our team of digital strategists, technologists, and organizers in supporting workers on our platform. She guides our work at the intersection of digital strategies and the labor movement.

Aisha is an executive-level leader and strategist in the areas of digital transformation, advocacy, and team management. Most recently, she served as Managing Director for the DC office at Blue State Digital, the global digital agency. She’s also led digital and communications programs at The Africa Fund (as a Ford Foundation fellow), One Economy Corporation, Service Employees International Union, National Education Association, and Human Rights Campaign.

Tim Newman

Campaigns Director

Tim helps people leverage Coworker.org’s tools and peer networks to influence employers and win change in the workplace. Before joining Coworker.org, Tim served as a Deputy Campaign Director at Change.org where he supported site users to run and win campaigns on the platform. He also worked as a Campaigns Director at the International Labor Rights Forum.
